Petroleum Experts IPM Suite software download portable is a product of Petroleum Experts (Petex), which is known for developing engineering software in the field of oil and gas for chemical engineering. Complete modeling of oil or gas production system including reservoir, well and surface network can be done by IPM (Integrated Production Modeling) software suite.
This set includes GAP, GAP TRANSIENT, PROSPER, MBAL, PVTP, REVEAL, MOVE and RESOLVE tools. Chemical Engineers can use these softwares seamlessly and design complete field models. These models can include storage tanks, wells, and surface collection systems. IPM can simultaneously model and optimize the production system and gas or water injection system. By completing the reservoir model, wells and complete surface systems and adapting the production history, the production system can be optimized and production forecasts can be implemented.
The unique approach to global optimization allows the engineer to determine the optimal setting for maximum output or revenue, taking into account all the constraints set in the system. These results can then be used to execute field-level adjustments to achieve optimization goals.
There are several thousand fields around the world whose production is managed and optimized using IPM. All common natural flow configurations, including transverse / lateral or natural / artificial flows, can be modeled and optimized together.

The IPM suite of applications was created to allow for integrated systems to be constructed, therefore eliminating artificial boundary conditions that engineers would have to impose on models of individual parts of any production or injection system. The basis of any integrated model is a solid and consistent PVT definition, which respects the behaviour of any fluid when it flows in the reservoir, in wells, in pipes and beyond. Traditional approaches of modelling each part of the system in isolation relied on PVT models that were bespoke and created for a single specific use.
OpenServer is the Petex API Protocol (syntax) that allows third party programs (such as Excel, Visual Basic, etc.) to access public functions in IPM to automate data input and model calculations.
